This traditional hand carved Lozi bowl was a utilitarian object that served a variety of purposes for storage, food preparation and serving.. The Lozi also known as Barotse, live in and around the flood plain of the Zambezi River. The bowl is finely crafted in light brown wood with black paint decorated with incised designs and stands on four legs.
