The Ngbaka pipe called “Boka,” was a prestige object owned by a chief or notable who could afford it. This pipe has a cylinder shape with a concave human face with incised lines of scarification above the nose extending to the forehead. A metal bowl emerges from the torso, the missing curved metal pipe stem would have been inserted into the hole at the top of the head.
