This Pende Ikhoko amulet made of wood is in fine condition with some loss on the back from use. The amulet has a heart-shaped face, downcast eyes, arching brows, triangular nose, a long beard and a dark brown patina with white highlights. Amulets were given to young initiates to serve as a protective talisman and to reinforce societal morals and values.
