The Mukinka mask was used by the warriors society and served as a marker of status during initiations. These masks are carved in wood with small strips of copper plates added.  The mask has a bulging forehead, open square mouth with pointed teeth.  The headdress has cane knobs, feathers, fiber and a beard of cane knobs
