The Widekum produced figural headdresses covered by antelope hide, dyed black  with a basketry base that attached to the dancer’s head.  The figure has articulated limbs that are attached to the torso by pegs.  The skeletal head has an open mouth baring metal teeth, raised keloids at the temples and human hair.  These headdresses were worn at dances of their regulatory society and is in good condition with abrasions and loss of hide and hair.
