Browse the latest African Masks in our collection. Feel free to contact us for any details or for questions you may have.
Most African masks were part of full costumes, considered magically powered objects serving ritual purposes. There are face masks, helmets, crest masks, planks and headdresses with human or animal features. The majority of masks are made of wood, with additions of pigment, fiber, raffia, metal, beads, feathers, fur and leather. We offer West African masks of the Idoma, Igbo, Ogoni and Yoruba plus Central African masks of the Bembe, Chokwe, Kuba, Pende, Salampasu and Yaka.
