Kafanchan Currency Hoe Hoe currency came in the shape of a spade, heart, anchor or blades and was an important symbol of value and medium of exchange. The hoe was used for planting, irregating and harvesting and represented the entire agricultural endeavor in village life. These hoes were most often used as bridewealth.
