This Songye figure known as Nkisi was used by individuals and families for healing, to counteract evil and to redirect aggressive action through witchcraft.  The figure has an animal horn atop it’s head with red cloth, a rich reddish-brown patina and an abdominal cavity with glass. The figure is in excellent condition.
